My surgery day is Wednesday the 29th and I'm starting to get a little nervous.  I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am.  I would appreciate any prayers or kind words.  Thanks!

Lisa, I haven't gone through surgery yet so I can't really give you any advise on what to expect.  My surgery is next month.  Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I'll be thinking of you and hope you'll be able to post soon to let us all know how your doing.  By the way, I noticed your from Hudson.  I grew up and lived in the Hickory area until 8 years ago, then moved to Wilmington.  The beach is nice, but there are times I miss the beautiful hills and all the seasons back home.

I would love to live at the beach.  I hope your surgery goes great too.

I am sure you will do fine!  Prayers you way!!!

I am in Lenoir; maybe we can meet up sometime!  I have not made it to the Hickory Support group yet but do meet with the Morganton group (Sheila, Shauna, Mandy, and others as we grow).

Lisa!  I am so happy to hear your time has almost arrived!  If I could go back in time and change some things, one would be to change how nervous I was pre-op.  I know that probably doesn't help you much right now, but once it's over with you'll realize there was no need to be so nervous!  :)

I am also going to be in the OR on Wednesday with Dr. Cook!  He is doing my colonoscopy that day and I'm to be there at 11:30am.  We may pass one another in the hallway at some point in time, but I'm sure we won't even realize it!  :)  Who is going to be your support in the waiting area?  I know we will definitely cross paths when I arrive (an hour early to get my labs done first).

Hang in there, don't be nervous (if possible!), and you will most certainly be in my thoughts on Wednesday...I'll be keeping a look-out for you!  {{{Hugs}}}

I hope your procedure goes well and I hope that I see you there.  My mom and dad and my husband Byran will be there with me.   I haven't really been that nervous until tonight and my nerves are getting the best of me.  I just hope everything goes well and if don't see you tomorrow I hope to see you at a meeting real soon.  Take care.
